DNS Domain Sale Indicators
I've been covering the DNS space for years, and I've never seen a feature that's as straightforward - and potentially useful - as the new "for sale" indicator that's been added to DNS. Essentially, it allows domain owners to publicly signal that their domain is up for grabs, which could streamline the sales process and make it easier for buyers and sellers to connect. The way it works is simple: if a domain is genuinely for sale, the owner can indicate as much in the DNS, and then Com will advertise its availability to brokers and other interested parties without taking the site down or parking it. What's interesting about this feature is that it doesn't require any significant changes to the way domains are currently managed.
